Abstract
1,142,469. Dry shavers. BRAUN A.G. 26 Jan., 1968 [2 Feb., 1967], No. 4200/68. Heading B4B. A dry shaver comprises two cutting systems having different degrees of shaving sharpness and having convex stationary foils 2 covering the movable cutting blades and an electric motor for simultaneously driving both cutting blades, the motor and cutting systems being disposed in a common casing 1. The angle between the cutting systems is between 80 and 120 degrees and is preferably 90 degrees. The current supply flex 4 is situated at the corner of the casing diametri- 3 cally opposed to the corner between the cutting systems. Alternatively, the flex lead-in position is rounded and the flex lead-in arranged so as to be pivotable in a plane of the casing containing the cutting systems.
