Abstract

114,209. Heap, W., and Dunlop, H. J. L. March 30, 1917. Epicyclic gearing for a machine for compressing or moulding plastic substances comprises an internally toothed wheel 26, secured. to a gear 23 on the shaft 2, meshing with an externallytoothed wheel 29 oscillated by an eccentric 27 fast with the driving-pulley 28, the wheel 29 being held against rotation by lugs 32 engaging slots 31 in a floating plate which is also provided with slots engaging lugs in a disk 34 normally held against rotation by a brake 35. In a modification, the plate 30 is provided with lugs instead of slots.
