1,141,899. Supporting telephone receivers. PERRY COMBUSTION ACCESSORIES Ltd. 23 Aug., 1967, No. 38910/67. Heading H4J. A device for supporting a telephone handset on either shoulder of a user is made in two parts which fit together with a tongue and groove connection. As shown, a clamp portion 1 has a felt, foamed rubber or plastics pad 7 which with a spring clip 8 grips the handgrip portion of a telephone handset. The other part comprises an arm 3 adapted to engage the shoulder of a user and provided with an undercut groove 6 by which it can be fitted on to a rib or bead 5 on the clamp portion. The arm may be removed and reversed to fit on the other shoulder. Both parts are moulded from plastics. The arm is lined with a ribbed rubber strip 10. A stop on one part or a projection on one part and a recess in the other limits the movement of or locates the parts relative to each other.
