Abstract

1413839 Sets T HOLMES 8 March 1974 [22 Dec 1972 29 Dec 1972] 59517/72 and 60229/72 Heading H4J A holder for a telephone handset comprises a headband 15, a body 11 on the headband 15 adapted to receive the earpiece of the handset, and a resilient clip 12 engageable with the handle of the handset so as to co-operate with the body 11 in locating the handset in operative position on the head of a user. As shown the body 11 has a circular recess 13 of complementary shape to the earpiece of the handset. Alternatively the recess is rectangular (Fig. 2, not shown). The other end 17 of the headband 15 has a slot 18 in which is slidably disposed on anchorage 19 which, in use, bears against the head of a user to hold the headband in place.
