[Also in Division F2] An automatic boat bailing device comprises a fish-tail type non-return or check valve secured to a fitting having means for attachment to the drain hole in the tuck or transom of a boat. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1 (plan), said means comprises a flange H and in the embodiment in Fig. 2 (elevation), a screw-threaded nipple. The valve is attached to the port C by a hollow conical member D and comprises two flexible members (with a raised moulded member G along their edges) terminating in a serrated outlet F formed by lips which seal together with the outside pressure of the water once the boat stops its forward motion.
