1,140,414. Moulding end caps on hair waving rollers. LADY JAYNE (HAIR PRODUCTS) Ltd. 15 Jan., 1968 [27 Jan., 1967], No. 4101/67. Heading B5A. [Also in Division A4] In a process for manufacturing a hair waving roller a charge e.g. of wax, or a gel is inserted into a tubular container 10 closed at 15 and made of synthetic resin e.g. polypropylene. A plug 21, also of a synthetic resin, is then inserted into the other end of the container and a cap 38 is moulded on to the plug. As described a plurality of plugged containers 10 are located in recesses of an injection moulding device to define cavities into which polypropylene is injected under pressure.
