Abstract

1,140,377. Pneumatic conveyers; hoppers. METALAIR Ltd. 12 June, 1967 [15 June, 1966], No. 26732/66. Headings B8A and B8S. A receptacle 32 is pivotally mounted about a horizontal axis at the outer end of a linkage 13 which is pivotally supported about a vertical axis on a stand 12 supporting a bottom-discharge container 10. The linkage comprises two or more arms pivotally connected in series about vertical axes whereby the receptacle may be moved beneath the outlet 16 of the container 10 and beneath the outlet 28 of a container 26 supported by a filter sock 24 on a vent pipe 22. The container is fed pneumatically with granular material, the vent pipe 22 being as disclosed in Specification 1,140,376.
