Abstract

1,139,370. Endless conveyers. ATLAS EQUIPMENT (LONDON) .Ltd. 9 Nov., 1966 [16 Aug., 1966], No. 36676/66. Heading B8A. [Also in Division A2] Bakery products are carried through a tunnel oven 2 on the upper flight of an endless, flexible, travelling conveyer 14, and means are provided for intercepting the products and discharging them through an intermediate side-exit port 8 before they arrive at the usual end-exit port 9. The intercepting and discharging means comprise a deflecting roller 18, which is pivotally mounted about a conveyer guide roller 10. The roller 18 can be moved, together with a transverse discharge conveyer 20, between an inoperative upper position and a lower position, where the roller 18 depresses the upper flight of the conveyer 14 and causes products to be deposited on the conveyer - 20, which carries them through the port 8. A sliding door 24 is provided to allow swinging movement of the conveyer 20 between its raised and lowered positions.
