Abstract

1,148,617. Endless conveyers. MASCHINEN - UND APPARATEBAU LANDSBERG VEB. 20 Sept., 1967, No. 42773/67. Heading B8A. An endless belt conveyer 9 mounted on a turntable 6 carried by an extension projecting from the frame of a conveyer (1), Fig. 1 (not shown), is adapted to be extended from the position of Fig. 2 to that of Fig. 3 by the action of a jack 42. An endless belt conveyer 8 is also movable into an extended position by the action of a jack 45. In its retracted position the belt of the conveyer 9 forms a cavity into which the conveyer 8 is rested (Fig. 2). In their extended positions the conveyers are adapted to feed loads from the conveyer (1) to the interior of a covered vehicle (not shown). The elevation of the frame of the conveyer may be adjusted by a jack 52 connected by a cable 53 to the turntable 6. Switch panels 56, 57 are mounted on either side of the forward ends of the conveyers 8, 9. A control system is provided at 58.
