Abstract
1,138,419. Ergoline derivatives. SOC. FARMACEUTICI ITALIA. 24 July, 1967 [29 July, 1966], No. 33887/67. Heading C2C. Novel 1,6-dimethyl-10α-ergoline derivatives of the formula wherein R is a hydrogen atom, or a radical of an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or heterocyclic carboxylic or sulphonic acid having from 1 to 10 carbon atoms in the molecule, unsubstituted or substituted by, halogen atoms, hydroxy-, nitro-, amino-, alkylamino-, alkyl-, aryl-, alkoxy-, aryloxy-, thioether or sulphonic groups, or a radical of an alkyl- or arylcarbonic acid or dialkylcarbamic acid are prepared by hydrogenating 1,6 - dimethyl - 8# - aminomethyl - 10α-ergoline and where desired acylating the resulting 1,6 - dimethyl - 8# - aminomethyl - 2,3 - dihydro - 10α - ergoline with the chloride or anhydride of an appropriate acid. Pharmaceutical compositions, suitable for oral, rectal or parenteral administration and having antienteraminic, oxytocic adrenolytic, hyposensive and sedative activity, contain as the active ingredient one of the above novel ergoline derivatives.
