1,137,594. Seat frames. PARSLOW FURNITURE Ltd. 27 June, 1967, No. 29570/67. Heading A4H. A plywood chair back 3, which is glued and stapled to the inner face of a bow 13, is reinforced externally by a plywood strip, glued and stapled to the outer face of the bow and stapled, at 16, to the back 3. The back unit may be bolted to a seat frame 21. Alternatively, the seat is formed by connecting a cross-bar 23 directly to the back unit. The curvature of the rim of the back 3 may be modified, by securing a rigid wooden fillet (29) to it. The rim may be padded to prevent it from cutting into an upholstery cover.
