1,136,708. Endless belt conveyers. PRECISMECA S.A. 14 June, 1967 [5 July, 1966; 20 July, 1966; 6 Feb., 1967], No. 27497/67. Heading B8A. Troughing roll assemblies for a conveyer belt 101 are vertically adjustable on threaded rods 112 which are secured to wire side ropes 118. Supports 106, 107 have apertures 111 through which the rods 112 pass, and nuts 113, 114 adjustably secure the supports. Sleeves 117 protect the rods 112 from damage by material over-flowing from the belt 101. Each rod is secured to the side rope 118 by a shoe 125 engaged by a screw 124 which also engages a threaded aperture in a hook member 121. A link 127 between the hook 121 and the shoe 125 prevents rotation of the latter when the screw 124 is rotated.
