Abstract

1,136,695. Starting. DAIMLER-BENZ A. G. July 7, 1967 [July 13, 1966], No.31475/67. Heading F1K. The invention relates to the production of a starting mixture for fuel injection internal-combustion engines having a plurality of individual air intake pipes 15-18 for the cylinders 11-14 fed by a common air intake manifold 19. The arrangement enables the feeding to the individual air intake pipes of-idling air and on supplementary air by-passing the throttle valve 21 in the air intake manifold and the feeding of supplementary fuel by a control valve 32 and by-passing the fuel injection pump 24. The supplementary air and/or idling air and the supplementary fuel are fed to the mixing chamber of a distributer 33 which is connected on its outlet side to the individual air intake pipes a nozzle for feeding the supplementary fuel projects into the mixing chamber and has a respective nozzle orifice for each individual air intake pipe. An idling air pipe 54 and a supplementary air pipe 55 lead to a common air pipe 56 of the distributer 33.
