Abstract

1,135,305. Lighters. UTE MOUNTAIN SUPPLY CO. 11 April, 1967 [12 Dec., 1966], No. 16429/67. Heading F4F. [Also in Division C7] Fires are kindled by scraping a stick of an alloy comprising 0À5-50% Mg the balance misch-metal to form powder or shavings, placing these particles near the combustible material and striking the stick with a metallic object to form sparks which are directed on to the particles until they ignite.
