Abstract

1,132,603. Razors. WILKINSON SWORD Ltd. 14 March, 1966 [19 March, 1965], No. 11651/65. Heading B4B. A razor comprises a blade in the form of a continuous endless flexible band 10 mounted on pulley wheels rotatably mounted in a cover 13 of synthetic resin, the cover having openings through which a limited length of the blade is exposed to provide cutting edges for shaving. Two lengths of the band are protected by a metal guard 16. One pulley is coupled to a feed wheel 17. The band 10 may be provided with an identification marking. When the whole length of the band has been used it may be replaced or alternatively, the razor discarded.
