Abstract
1,128,319. Bearings. SWF-SPEZIAL. FABRIK FUER AUTOZUBEHOER GUSTAV RAU G.m.b.H. 31 Jan., 1967 [19 July, 1966], No. 4568/67. Heading F2A. [Also in Division H2] An electric motor for a vehicle windscreen installation has at least one thrust bearing 6 of resilient plastics material buttoned into an end plate 3 of the motor housing and engaging an end of the motor shaft. The bearing 6 may have a concave, flat or convex bearing surface and may be preformed or cast or injection moulded in the end plate 3. As shown, the shaft of a motor rotates in sliding bushes 11, 12 and is axially adjustable by means of screw 13 which is preferably also of plastics material.
