[Also in Divisions A4 and F1] In a pump arrangement (see Division F1), a bearing 6, Fig. 1, of resilient plastics material has a clamping surface 8 axially staggered relative to the bearing surface 7 to prevent alteration of the diameter of the bearing surface when the bearing is press-fitted into sleeve 3. A flange at the lower end of the bearing has a pair of diametrically opposite cut-outs (9), Fig. 3 (not shown), engaged by projections from the pump casing 4. The lower end of shaft 5 bears on a flat surface 13 of a filter 11 in a plate 12 cemented into the casing 4.
