[Also in Division B5] In a plastics film or sheeting calender provided with at least three coplanar rolls (see Divisions B4-B5), film or sheet thickness irregularities due to bearing "float" in the penultimate roll are prevented (Fig. 15, not shown) by a pair of auxiliary, hydraulically or spring- loaded, bearings (44). The penultimate fixed roller bearing housing (Fig. 17, not shown) is mounted on the machine frame (19) by selfaligning laminar steel springs (46).
