Abstract

1,127,665. Mounting burners. JOHN I. THORNYCROFT & CO. Ltd. 22 June, 1967 [30 June, 1966], No. 29350/66. Heading F4T. In a burner arrangement a burner head 1 is movable within a guide tube 2 between an operative position at the end 3 and an inoperative position 4 by means of air pressure and vacuum respectively or by other means and an oil supply pipe 11 with a cranked extension 30 is movable axially and rotationally by means of an air cylinder 31 to ccnnect the oil supply to the burner head only when it is in the operative position. An atomizing air tube 5 surrounds guide tube 2 and a combustion air tube 7 surrounds parts of both tubes.
