1,170,220. Flame heater pin plugs. ROBERT BOSCH G.m.b.H. Oct.17, 1968 [Oct. 18, 1967], No.49310/68. Headings F1B and F1K. A flame heater pin plug for the starting of and secondary burning in diesel engines comprises a plug housing 10 in which is mounted one end of a heater pin 11 and on which is mounted a protective sleeve 14, the protective, sleeve enclosing the free end 11<1> of the heater pin and forming a combustion space therearound. The free end of the heater pin is surrounded by an intermediate tube 15 which is arranged concentrically of the heater pin and between the protective sleeve and the heater pin.
