1327019 Glow plugs ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 17 Sept 1971 [18 Sept 1970] 43413/71 Heading F1B A glow plug for an internal-combustion engine has a tubular heating element 10 containing a heating coil 11, 12 having a pitch which increases from the front end of the tube to the rear end of the tube and the pitch of the turns of the heating coil is at least twice as great at the rear end of the coil 12 as at the front end 11, the latter end being in direct electrical contact with the tube.
