Abstract
1,125,614. Nickel alloys. INTERNATIONAL NICKEL Ltd. July 12, 1966 [July 20, 1965], No. 30785/65. Heading C7A. An alloy consists of Mo, Nb 2 to 6%, C 0.3 to 0.5%, Cr 19 to 33%, Ni the balance; the amount of Mo is such that (a) when the Cr content does not exceed 30% the Mo content is from 0 to [3.5 + 0À5 (30-Cr)] % being at least [# (24-Cr)]% when the Cr content is less than 24% and (b) when the Cr content is greater than 30% the Mo content is from 0 to 3.5%. The alloy may also contain B up to 0.01%, Zr up 0À1%, Fc up to 3%, Co up to 2%, Si up to 2%, Mn up to 1%. It may be solution treated at e. g. 1150‹C or 1250‹C and aged at 750-1060‹C.
