Fluxes.-A flux for brazing cast iron and other metals contains about 38 per cent. of sodium biborate, 19 per cent, of sodium carbonate, 38 per cent. of sodium chloride, and 5 per cent. of soda ash, with or without 0.04 per cent. of chloride of gold.
