Abstract

1,124,399. Conveying refuse. H. VON AULOCK. 22 April, 1966, No. 17842/66. Heading B8A. Refuse from shoot 3 is conveyed to furnace 2 by screw 15 working in casing 13, the casing being shaped as in Fig. 4 to give regularity of feed, e.g. in the case of an automatic feed. The casing is provided with inspection doors 18, 12 and (Fig. 3), with pivoted discharge door 22 which is operated by sliding damper 9 driven by motor 10. Damper 9 controls the feed opening 8 of furnace 2.
