Explosives.-Relates to ammonium perchlorate explosives of the kind containing a metallic chlorate, and consists in making the explosive with ammonium perchlorate in which is left by incomplete purification or to which is added a smali percentage, namely 0.005-1 per cent., of a chlorate other than ammonium chlorate, for instance, potassium, sodium, barium, or calcium chlorate.
