Abstract

[Also in Division F4] A drinking vessel comprises an inner container 1 of styrene acrylonitrile or acrylonitrile butadiene styrene nesting inside a transparent or translucent outer container 2 moulded with an integral handle 3, and made of tinted synthetic plastics material. Aluminium lacquer film 6 sprayed or vacuum deposited on the inner surface of the outer container provides a light reflective surface. A heat insulating silica aerogel powder, with or without metallic powder, is used as an insulant in the air space 7 between the containers.
