Abstract

1,120,699. Heald frames. GROB & CO. A.G. 21 Dec., 1966 [23 Dec., 1965], No. 57107/66. Heading D1E. A heald carrying rod 2 is attached to the heald frame 1 by brackets 9, each of which is pushed up into the frame member and secured by a sliding bolt 12. The bolt engages under a shoulder on the bracket, and its nose engages in a groove in a bracket 3 fixed in the frame member. On sliding the bolt to the right, its heel 32 engages a shoulder in a bracket 4 to hold the bracket 9 in place against a leaf spring 7. The bolt is locked in position by a keeper 18 sprung into a notch 20 in the bracket 3 and a notch 22 in the bolt. The bracket 9 is wrapped with foil to make it a good fit in the frame member.
