1,120,567. Gunn effect limiter circuits. TELEFUNKEN PATENTVERWERTUNGS G.m.b.H. 4 Nov., 1966 [15 Dec., 1965], No. 49652/66. Heading H3T. A circuit arrangement in which signals of varying amplitude are to be limited to a predetermined amplitude level includes a Gunn effect oscillator element biased to below its critical voltage level, the signals being applied to the element at amplitudes suitable to initiate oscillation. The signals may be superimposed on the bias or applied to an additional, preferably insulated, electrode provided on the element intermediate its ends.
