Abstract

A woven or knitted fibrous material for making gaskets (see Division F2) is impregnated with a bituminous composition comprising a mixture of bitumen with natural or synthetic rubber or resin. The fibrous material may be jute, hessian, glass fibre cloth or asbestos cloth.
