Abstract

1,119,594. Valves. SWF - SPEZIALFABRIK FUER AUTOZUBEHOER GUSTAV RAU G.m.b.H. 15 April, 1966 [8 May, 1965], No. 16531/66. Heading F2V. A relief valve which may be disposed in the cover 10 of a fuel pump comprises a movable closure member 16 with a stem 16<SP>1</SP> guided in a threaded housing cap 13<SP>1</SP> which also acts as an abutment for the loading spring 15; the closure member 16 has a blind bore accommodating the central boss 17<SP>1</SP> of a rubber-like facing member 17 embodying an annular bead 18 co-operating with the seat 20. The facing member 17 may consist of a disc secured in a conical recess in the closure member 16.
