1,118,894. Glazings releasable fastenings. VEREINIGTE LEICHTMETALL-WERKE G.m.b.H. 1 Feb., 1967 [5 Feb., 1966], No. 4846/67. Headings E1R and E2A. An arrangement for locating a retaining strip 3 for a glass pane 4 or other panel in a metal frame 1 having a base 10 and a perpendicular backing rail against which the marginal portion of the plane &c. is supported by the strips 3, comprises a clip 2 formed at its centre with an L-section foot 6 which engages in a recess 11 conforming in shape to the foot, in a flange on the base 10, and the leading end of the clip in the intended direction of insertion has a nose 7 which is arranged to snap into engagement with the underside of a projection 9 on the frame member.
