Abstract

A vehicle comprises at least one free-running non-steerable wheel 2 on the transverse centre line of the wheel system and two other wheels 3, 4 one of which is driven connected by steering gear by which they are pivotable through equal angles but respectively in opposite senses to steer the vehicle and a further driven wheel 8 on the centre line and longitudinally between and in line with the wheels 3, 4. In the limiting position P3 of the steerable wheels the vehicle pivots about a central point 5. The vehicle, which includes seats 6, 7 is driven by an engine through one or both steerable wheels 3, 4. If the vehicle has more than one non-driven wheel the wheels will be arranged coaxially with wheel 2.
