Abstract

1,118,347. Electric cookers. RADIATION Ltd. 27 Sept., 1966 [13 Oct., 1965], No. 43447/65. Heading H5H. [Also in Division F4] An eye-level grill chamber 4 with element 24 is mounted by lugs 5 and screws on the top arms of angle members 1, a back plate 2 being on these arms behind the grill. A cover 14 with front panels 10, 11 provides a grill housing spaced vertically from the chamber 4 to provide a cooling channel as in Specification 970,107 (see Division F4). Cooker control switches 15 mounted behind the back plate 2 are operatively connected to knobs 23 mounted on the front panel 11 by D-shafts 15a, 18 and steel connectors 19. Grill pan runners 8 and a baffle 20 are provided. Indicia are provided on knobs 23 and panel 11. Connectors 19 may also be provided in shafts 18 near to knobs 23, or knobs 23 may have thermally insulating internal bushes. The non-electrical parts are comprised of pressed sheet metal.
