1,116,050. Ventilators. R. W. SIMON. 27 Jan., 1967 [29 Oct., 1965], No. 45849/65. Heading F4V. A self-driven rotary type ventilator comprises a rotor 11 mounted-at each end of its spindle 10-in bearings in spiders 8, 13 fixed to the casing portion 1, an apertured circular plate 16 and an apertured disc 19 mounted inside the plate 16 forming means for regulating the air flow, and a weather guard 25. Cords are provided to move the disc 19 from its open to closed position and the various parts of the ventilator may be made of a synthetic plastic. A spacing ring may be provided when the space between the panes of double-glazing is substantial to add a degree of sound insulation.
