Abstract

1,114,561. Interrupters. NATIONAL RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION. 15 April, 1965 [15 Jan., 1964], No. 1884/64. Heading H1N. [Also in Division H2] A rotary distributer comprises a disc of insulating material having conductive sectors 12 on each face co-operating with contacts 15, 16; 17, 18 mounted on rotatable ring 13. The sectors are symmetrically positioned and each spans 45 degrees with the sectors on one face displaced by 45 degrees from those on the other face. The disc is mounted on the shaft of a motor and the switch contacts used to control thyristors which switch the current in the stator windings. (See Division H2). Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,010,205.
