1,114,478. Aircraft jet engine thrust reversal. SOCIETE NATIONALE D'ETUDE ET DE CONSTRUCTION DE MOTEURS D'AVIATION. 8 June, 1966 [9 June, 1965], No. 25614/66. Heading B7G. [Also in Division F1] A variable convergent-divergent jet-propulsion nozzle (see Division F1) has associated therewith a thrust reversing device comprising two diametrically oppositely disposed outlet ducts o in which are sets of reversing vanes f, the ducts being closable at g, h. When thrust reversal is selected the vanes c which are provided to vary the throat area of the nozzle are moved to completely close the nozzle as shown at the lower part of Fig. 1.
