Abstract

1,109,810. Tuning arrangements. ITT INDUSTRIES Inc. 2 Dec., 1966 [3 Dec., 1965], No. 54106/66. Heading H3Q. For tuning two or more resonant circuits with capacitance diodes so as to preserve a constant frequency difference between the circuits, one diode D3 (Fig. 2) is fed with an adjustable voltage from R8 for tuning and a fraction of this voltage is applied to the other diode D4 through a voltage divider comprising a threshold diode D5 (e.g. Zener) and an ohmic resistor R6/7. The value of the frequency difference is controlled by R6.
