Abstract
1,107,989. Transistor monostable circuits. ASSOCIATED ENGINEERING Ltd. 9 Sept., 1964 [9 Sept., 1963], No. 36987/64. Heading H3T. [Also in Divisions F1 and G1] A monostable multivibrator in a fuel injection control circuit includes transistors TR1, TR2 and timing capacitor C1 In the rest state TR1 is off and TR2 is on, the voltage at the collector of TR1 being determined by a first control voltage V1 supplied from an emitter follower (TR9, Fig. 3, not shown). When a negative trigger pulse is supplied at T2, TR1 is turned on and TR2 switches off, producing a negative voltage at its collector for application via capacitor C2 to emitter follower amplifier stages TR5, TR6. Capacitor C1 meanwhile discharges through constant current transistor TR4, the current through which is controlled by second control voltage V2. When the voltage at the base of TR2 reaches a predetermined value, the multivibrator relaxes. Transistor TR3 then provides a low impedance charging circuit for the capacitor.
