Oval - link chains.-In detachable bipartite studs for oval-link chains, one part D fits into a socket b<1> in the other part B, the two parts being secured together by a rivet or cotter C. A second pin E inserted in the part B supports the end of the part D. Projections on the outer ends of the stud engage in recesses in the link A to prevent the stud from slipping.
