1,106,103. Printed circuits. BRITISH AIRCRAFT CORPORATION (OPERATING) Ltd. 15 March, 1966 [23 March, 1965], No. 12310/65. Heading H1R. [Also in Division H2] A micro-miniature printed circuit 1 having connection areas 3 is placed on a header board 2 having terminal wires 5 projecting through it, and the connection areas 3 are connected to respective terminals 5 by arranging over the assembly a support 7 carrying conductive areas 8 and bonding those areas to the areas 3 and terminals 5, in a single thermo-compression soldering operation. The support 7 may be of celluloid and may later be dissolved away. The areas 8 may be of gold or tin and may be formed on the support 7 by printed circuit techniques.
