Abstract

110,190. Tilley, O., and Wilson, B. L. Oct. 12, 1916. Bodies; vehicles with removable bodies. -A motor carriage, tricycle, or like vehicle is fitted with movable or removable seats to facilitate use by cripples, invalids, &c. Figs. 1 and 2 show one form having two seats b, c, the former of which may be rotated in its support e to the position shown in dotted lines in Fig. 2, whereas the latter is bodily removable. The seat b may be locked in its normal positon by a spring pin g, and the seat c is provided with lifting handles h and may be fastened with dowel pins or spring catches i. Supports l, m may be provided for a crutch, and a screen n of glass &c. may be pivoted at o so as to be adjustable over the engine. In a modification, a single seat rotatable about a central pivot is provided. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 21379/00, 19148/05, 29233/09, [Class 103 (ii), Rail &c.
