Abstract

1,101,511. Oil - filled cable systems. PIRELLI S.p.A. 23 Feb., 1965 [10 July, 1964], No. 7671/65. Heading H1A. The tank shown maintains the oil pressure in an electric cable. The space above the piston 10 is filled with air or nitrogen under pressure and the space below it with oil. The intermediate section 5 of the tank is lined with gaskets which prevent communication between the oil and the gas, and ducts 9 lead off gas which succeeds in passing the upper part of the seal.
