1,099,390. Adjustable feet for furniture &c. SAREK A.S. Oct. 13, 1965 [Oct. 13, 1964; Aug. 6, 1965], No. 43378/65. Heading A4H. [Also in Division F2] A vibration damping foot 5 for machinery is secured in a recess 4 in the bottom face of the machinery frame and comprises a levelling screw 7 to which is releasably secured a rigid plate 11 and a rubber part 12. In a modification spaced feet are mounted in a groove in the frame and in another modification a body of an elastomer is snugly enclosed by the recess and has in its middle two vertical plates with a cavity between them, a horizontal spindle having opposite handed threads being in threaded engagement with the plates so that the body may be compressed laterally to provide vertical adjustment by consequent increase in vertical dimension.
