Abstract

A tear-resistant fabric is woven from non-synthetic staple fibre yarns. At intervals in the warp, three ends weave as one, two ends weaving as one in the remainder of the warp. The weft is inserted as single picks, with picks consisting of a bundle of threads at intervals.
