Abstract

1,090,903. Regulating switches. FULLER ELECTRIC Ltd. March 5, 1965 [March 6, 1964], No. 9494/64. Addition to 883,232. Heading H2B. An on-load tap selector switch of the kind disclosed in the parent Specification is modified by providing an auxiliary contact on each side of the main moving contact, the spacing between the tips of the auxiliary contacts being not less than that between adjacent stationary contacts. This allows the latter spacing to be almost twice the width of a stationary contact and permits operation at twice the voltage permissible with the switch of the parent Specification.
