951,127. Arc-rupturing in switches. ETABLISSEMENTS MERLIN & GERIN S.A. July 17, 1961 [July 21, 1960], No. 25762/61. Heading H2B. In an arc-chute similar to that of Specification 702,834, at least one insulating plate 24, not carrying conductive members 16, is arranged between adjacent plates 11, the lower ends of all the plates having triangular notches 14, 27. The upper ends of the notches are continued as saw cuts 28 and are displaced relatively to each other transversely of the longitudinal axis of the plates. The notches have chamfered edges. The conductive members 16 are arranged on one face only of the plates 11.
