Abstract

1,090,035. Folding machines. LEIPZIGER BUCHBINDEREIMASC H IN ENWER K E VEB. Feb. 17, 1965, No. 6865/65. Heading B6H. The folding blade 2, Fig. I (not shown), of a sheet-folding machine is adjustable in height above the sheet entry plane P of a pair of folding rollers by means of an eccentric mounting 7 of a drive member, the mounting being in a stationary support so that adjustment may be made during operation of the folding machine. The eccentric 7 may be manually rotated for the adjustment and held in position by a disc spring 10. The drive member mounted in the eccentric 7 may be a bell-crank 4, one end of which engages with the blade 2 and the other with linkage 12, 13 operated by a follower and drive cam 14. In a modification, Fig. 3 (not shown), the bell-crank 4 is coupled to the blade 2 by a further link 5.
