Abstract

1,089,843. Cultivating machines. "SISIS" EQUIPMENT (MACCLESFIELD) Ltd. Feb. 22, 1965[March 3, 1964], No. 8822/64. Heading A1B. A power driven cultivating machine has a height adjusting mechanism which comprises a roller 21 mounted at each end or bell crank levers 22, and a spindle 26, with adjustment screws 27, 28 thereon, which passes through a rod joining the levers. The rearmost end of the spindle is secured to a lever 29 which is secured on a pivotable shaft 30 and which is lockable by clamping means 32 in the operative or inoperative positons of cultivator tool 16 shown in chain and full lines respectively or in any position between those shown. An alternative embodiment (Fig. 1, not shown) does not include the lever 29, but has the spindle connected directly to the machine frame.
