A blade assembly for mounting on the motor of an impact pulverizer comprises a unitary structure of a tube 3 for receiving a pivot pin, and blades 1 attached to or forming part of the tube 3. The blades are spaced apart by members 4 each consisting of two disc-shaped washers each having a sleeve portion 5 and a flared portion 6. The ends of the tube are flared.
