Abstract

1,088,334. Adapting small-arms for miniature ammunition. EDSTRÍMS INDUSTRIER A.B. June 20, 1966 [June 22, 1965], No. 27397/66. Heading F3C. A device for enabling smaller calibre ammunition to be used during practice shooting with a firearm comprises a bush 1 having a forward end of outer shape and dimensions substantially corresponding to the front portion of the cartridge chamber of the firearm. The bush 1 is provided with a forward extension 2 for insertion into the barrel of the firearm and an at least partlythreaded rear portion 4 of reduced diameter. A nut 9 co-operates with the threaded portion and has a frusto-conical outer surface substantially conforming to the corresponding section of the cartridge chamber. A removable member 6 co-operates with the rear portion of the bush and with the bolt of the firearm and is adapted to receive a round 7 of small calibre ammunition. The removable member may have a frusto-conical outer surface.
